Position: Business Development Executive – B2B Sales (Footwear)

Department: Mobility & Wellness

Reports To: SVP Business Development

Location: Pune (On-site)

Working Days: 6 days a week

Work Mode: Work from Office (WFO)

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and business-oriented professional with a background in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) and an MBA in Sales/Marketing to drive the growth of Frido's Footwear category.

The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of foot biomechanics, ergonomics, and customer needs with proven B2B sales capabilities to build strategic partnerships and expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive B2B sales and business development for Frido's footwear portfolio.
  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across corporate partnerships, distributors, retailers, institutional clients, and channel partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and business meetings to showcase Frido's footwear solutions and their ergonomic benefits.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiations, closures, and account management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure seamless customer onboarding and partner support.
  • Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities within the footwear industry.
  • Track sales performance, maintain CRM records, and provide regular business updates to leadership.
  • Represent Frido at trade shows, exhibitions, industry events, and networking forums to generate leads and strengthen brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy and MBA in Sales (BPT/MPT).
  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, or Channel Sales. Prior experience as a practicing Physiotherapist is preferred.
  • Experience in footwear, wellness, mobility, ergonomic products, consumer products, healthcare products, or related industries will be preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and provide consultative solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
