Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify potential B2B/B2C clients including Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), large-scale plantation owners, and Agri-input retailers. Build a robust sales pipeline for crop spraying services through high-volume cold calling and digital outreach.
- End-to-End Sales Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial discovery to on-ground demonstrations.
- Client Handling: Act as the primary point of contact, educating prospects on the ROI of UAV-based pesticide and fertilizer application over traditional methods.
- Rural Market Penetration: Extensive traveling within PAN India, specifically in agricultural clusters, to establish a local presence and build trust with the farming community.
- Conversion: Persistently follow up with leads, handle objections regarding drone technology, and drive the conversion of inquiries into per-acre or service-contract revenue.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to refine sales pitches and pricing models based on seasonal crop cycles and competitor DaaS pricing.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, service commitments, and lead status in the CRM.
Required Skills
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills in English and Hindi; ability to simplify technical drone concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Resilience: A thick skin for cold calling and the persistence required for the longer sales cycles typical in rural AgriTech.
- Aptitude: Proven ability to influence decision-makers and close deals in a target-driven environment.
- Technical: Proficiency in MS Office.
