Objective
Sales Engineer is responsible for driving the sales and Business development of Saint-Gobain Tape Solutions products Primarily in Automotive and EV Industry
this role is managing the robust pipeline of automotive companies and ensure sustainable growth and market penetration.
Key area responsibility
Must have experience of Sales and business development in automotive and EV market and proven track record of building/developing new sales avenue
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategies to achieve the sales targets and expand the market share within Automotive sector
Build and Maintain strong pipeline of customer engage in prospective activities and attending the industry events to generate leads.
Establish and Maintain the long term relationship with existing key accounts,. Conduct regular client meetings to understand the needs of customer.
maintain in depth understanding of Sealing, Bonding and Double side tape application in automotive and EV segment
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentation to prospective clients
Lead contract/ purchase negotiations with clients ensuring favorable terms and conditions
work closely with cross functional team including product development, Market Manager, Customer support team
prepare sales report forecast on monthly basis and quarterly basis. Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product development and strategic planning
Essentials
Technical Degree with 5 to 6 years experience preferably in Automotive and EV market
Must have handle the M&M, BAJAJ, JSW MG and its tier 1 accounts.
Engineering Degree with prior sales and Marketing experience in Tape solution
Interpersonal skill with strong orientation to team work
Travel Average around 50% or as needed
Fluency in English and local language
Excellent excel, PPT and computer skill
