Profile Summary:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong background in
sales and leadership, ideally suited for retired army personnel. This individual will take on a
key role in driving business development efforts, generating leads, and expanding our
market presence in the drone and technology sector. A disciplined and motivated
professional with a passion for building relationships and achieving sales targets will be a
perfect fit for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Market Expansion:
Identify new business opportunities, including potential clients, markets, and
partnerships.
Proactively reach out to potential clients, network, and represent the company at
various business development events.
Build and nurture a strong network of clients to expand market share and create
opportunities.
Client Consultation & Sales Process Management:
Engage with clients to understand their business needs, providing tailored solutions
and promoting company products/services.
Lead negotiations and manage the entire sales process from initial contact to deal
closure.
Prepare and present proposals, sales documentation, and contracts for new clients.
Relationship Management & Customer Retention:
Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and
continued business.
Manage key accounts and provide continuous support to address client concerns and
needs.
Offer post-sales services to ensure seamless implementation and customer retention.
Sales Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve set goals and targets.
Assist in the recruitment and training of new team members.
Foster a collaborative work environment to ensure the successful execution of sales
strategies.
Reporting & Strategic Planning:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports to senior
management.
Assist in the development of sales strategies and forecasting for future growth.
Track and analyze sales metrics to refine strategies and ensure targets are
consistently met.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally with a focus on
B2B sales.
Retired army personnel with leadership experience and a background in managing
teams or projects are highly encouraged to apply.
Strong experience in building relationships with clients, conducting sales
presentations, and closing deals.
Skills:
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to drive sales in a highly competitive market.
High level of discipline, work ethic, and problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
