Job Description
The BD Coordinator will act as the execution engine of Business Development, ensuring smooth,
structured, and consistent BD operations while allowing the BD Lead and senior leadership to focus on
relationships, strategy, and key client meetings. This role will also protect the Proposal Manager from
routine BD coordination work.
Responsibilities
- Lead Management & Tracking
Identify and shortlist prospective clients/projects using industry sources (e.g., project portals, news, LinkedIn, market intelligence).
Maintain and regularly update the Master BD Tracker with accurate status of leads and opportunities.
- Meeting Coordination & Scheduling
Coordinate And Schedule Meetings For
- Senior Leadership (when travelling to regions)
- BD Lead (virtual/in-person as required)
- Regional Leads (in-person local meetings)
Manage calendars and logistics related to BD meetings.
Prepare Concise 1-page Meeting Briefs Including
- Client background
- Project overview
- Objective of the meeting
- Follow-ups & Pipeline Management
Draft follow-up emails post meetings (for review by BD Lead/Senior Leadership).
Track responses and update opportunity status in the BD Tracker.
Ensure timely follow-ups with prospects and regional leads.
- Coordination with Internal Teams
Work closely with BD Lead, Regional Leads, and (when necessary) the Proposal team to ensure
alignment.
Serve as the primary point of coordination for BD-related activities.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–6 years in Business Development, Sales Coordination, or Client Engagement roles
(preferably in Construction, Real Estate, or Professional Services).
- Education: Graduate (any discipline).
