Company Overview:

Strategic Growth Advisors (SGA) is a values-driven and values-led investor communication consultancy, providing an effective complement of Investor Relations, Public Relations, Brand & Design and Corporate Reporting under a single roof.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development- Branding and Social Media role based in Mumbai. The Business Development professional will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a robust pipeline, and support the end-to-end business development cycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, mapping target sectors, generating leads, and engaging prospective clients through calls, emails, meetings, and presentations. The role involves collaborating with internal advisory teams to understand service offerings, prepare tailored proposals, and support pitch meetings. The individual will maintain accurate records of interactions, provide regular reporting on business development activities, and contribute ideas to refine go-to-market strategies.

Experience: 2-4 years

Qualifications

- Map and segment target markets: listed corporates, financial institutions, mid-market brands, and companies undergoing rebranding, IPOs, or digital transformation.

- Generate leads through outbound prospecting — calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, industry events, and referral networks.

- Build and maintain a structured BD pipeline; track leads, follow-ups, and conversion milestones using CRM tools.

- Engage decision-makers (CMOs, brand heads, communications leads) and position SGA's Brand & Design capabilities effectively.

- develop tailored proposals, credentials decks, and pitch materials for prospective clients.

- Lead or support pitch meetings — from preparation through to client presentation and follow-through.

- Track competitor offerings, market pricing, and category trends in branding, visual identity, and social media management to keep SGA's positioning sharp.

- Provide regular pipeline and conversion reports to leadership; surface insights that inform go-to-market refinements.
