Job Title: Business Development - B2B
Job Summary
The Business Development professional will be responsible for driving B2B sales and lead generation efforts. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of international sales and commercial cards. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and foster relationships with potential clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify B2B leads through outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) and inbound enquiries, targeting financial services and corporate clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, requirement gathering, solution pitching, proposal and pricing, through to contract closure and handover to delivery teams.
- Build and maintain longterm relationships with key accounts, driving upsell/crosssell opportunities across commercial card and financerelated services.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new segments, geographies and partnership opportunities in the commercial cards and broader finance space.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, activities and pipeline in the CRM; prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Work closely with marketing and leadership to refine value propositions, sales collateral, and gotomarket strategies for target markets.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 1-4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Proven track record of successful lead generation and sales.
- Strong understanding of commercial cards and finance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
