Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and persuasive Sales Associate who can forge strong partnerships with school principals, trustees, and junior college decision-makers. The role involves selling our premium career counselling programs and organising on-campus interventions, parent seminars, and student sessions across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach:
  • Identify and connect with ICSE, CBSE, State Board, IGCSE, and IB schools and junior colleges in the designated territory.
  • Build a contact pipeline of decision-makers (principals, trustees, coordinators, career counsellors).

Sales & Relationship Building:

  • Pitch The Education Match platform's services via in-person meetings, presentations, and demos.
  • Develop lasting relationships with school stakeholders to enable year-long engagement.
  • Close B2B sales for school-wide programs, workshop packages, or parent-paid models.

School Event Coordination:

  • Coordinate with school management to execute student workshops, parent orientation sessions, and psychometric testing drives.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and handover to the internal counselling team post-sales.

Reporting & Strategy:

  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, visit reports, and school engagement trackers.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align local school needs with product customisations.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of sales experience in EdTech, educational publishing, test prep, or school outreach preferred
  • Prior experience selling to schools/junior colleges is highly preferred.

Skills & Qualities:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (English, Hindi, Marathi).
  • Persuasive, relationship-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Strong understanding of school operations and academic calendars.
  • Willing to travel daily within Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Education:

  • Graduate in any discipline. Candidates from education/management backgrounds preferred.
