About the Role
At Ocean Designograph, business development goes beyond salesit's about building meaningful partnerships rooted in design, print, and brand storytelling. We're looking for a Business Development Associate who thrives in the field, understands the creative industry, and can actively drive new client acquisition through strategic outreach and relationship building. This is an onsite role at Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients across industries
- Actively meet clients in person, pitch company capabilities, and generate new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers
- Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions to consistently drive revenue growth
- Represent Ocean at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 13 years of experience in business development / client acquisition
- Prior experience in a creative agency / advertising agency / branding studio is highly preferred
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in face-to-face client interactions and pitching
- Understanding of branding, design, and print processes (preferred)
- Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships
- Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
