Kosher Climate India Private Limited is a Consulting and Trading firm which develops carbon removal and carbon avoidance projects such as Mangrove, Cookstoves, AWD in Paddy fields, SoC in Agriculture, and Agroforestry etc., with in-house investments. Kosher also manages carbon credit portfolios of hundreds of its clients and helps them realize revenue. We also offer Sustainable solutions and services across a wide range of topics including carbon markets, renewable energy, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and corporate SDG compliance to name a few. We are spread across three continents with a global team headquarter in India.

About the role

About the role Kosher is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Associate for joining the team of experts to work in a challenging environment sustained by growth and learning. Successful candidate will closely work Business development team for wide range of services in the field of Carbon Advisory, Renewable Energy, sustainability and NBS projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perseverance with highly desirable clients is a key requirement for the candidate.
  • Must have 1-2 yrs of BD experience into similar industry
  • Work closely with internal teams initiate and close deals of all services under advisory services provided by Kosher.
  • Develop a sales pitch for prospective clients and participate in presentation of Business ideas.
  • Draw up client contracts depending on the size of the company and their service requirements. 
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams for proposals agreements and project documents
  • Focusing on business development, including enhancing the relationships we nurture with our current clients and expanding to new clients.
  • Provide market scenarios and monitor the developing trends in the policies and ground-level practices regarding the carbon markets to identify industry needs, opportunities, contribute suitable updates in company strategy and operations
  • Actively participate in exhibitions, forums, and other relevant events to promote company programs among relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

·  Relevant Degree.

·  1-3 years of BD experience with only B2B experience

·  Preferred experience in working in a similar Consultancy/ B2B environment

. Very good at sourcing, reaching out and convincing clients

· Good Communication Skills and a basic understanding of the Renewable energy, Sustainability and NBS projects

· Ability to write reports, prepare PowerPoint presentations and prepare contracts. 

·  Proactive and Can-do attitude and take up responsibility for all the tasks assigned. 

·  Excellent organizational and networking skills, team-oriented attitude, and ability to work independently.

·  Willingness to travel locally and internationally including to remote project locations

·  Capacity to work effectively under time pressure and during extended hours if required.

·  Outstanding command of English; knowledge of other international languages is an asset.
