About the Role

Hopcharge is looking for a driven, currently employed sales professional who wants to grow fast in India's EV sector. This is not a sit-at-desk role, but it is also not roadside or cold-street selling. As a Business Development Executive, you will represent Hopcharge at EV dealerships and car showrooms, build relationships with dealer principals and their teams, pitch our EV charging solutions, and close B2B partnerships.

Ltd., pioneering a patent-granted Virtual Power Grid (VPG) technology that saves 90% capex in grid upgrades while significantly increasing India's share of electricity and renewable energy. Our technology serves EV users, EV manufacturers, real estate developers, and fuel retailers committed to India's EV transition. We are not a startup finding direction — we are scaling.

What You Will Do

  • Visit EV dealerships and car showrooms across Gurugram as a Hopcharge representative
  • Build and manage B2B and B2C client relationships with dealer principals and business owners
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to drive consistent revenue growth
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand Hopcharge's business presence
  • Handle pricing discussions, negotiations, and contract closures
  • Forecast sales performance and submit weekly reports
  • Collaborate with internal operations and product teams for seamless client onboarding
  • Monitor P&L for your territory and ensure profitability targets are met

  • Who We Are Looking For

    • Currently employed in a sales role — candidates between jobs will not be considered
    • 6 months to 4 years of B2B or channel sales experience (auto, FMCG, telecom, fintech, or similar industries welcome)
    • Comfortable visiting and managing client locations independently across Gurugram
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Self-starter with a target-driven mindset and high ownership
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and basic sales reporting
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
    • Knowledge of the EV or automobile industry is a plus, not mandatory

  • Earning Potential

    Fixed Salary

    ₹3.5 – 5 LPA (based on experience)

    Monthly Incentive flexible 

    ₹10,000 – 40,000+ (uncapped)

    Year 1 Earning Potential

    ₹5 – 8 LPA for consistent performers
