Business Development Associate (Enterprise & Mid-Market – India)
Location: Gurugram / Mumbai/ Bengaluru/ Hyderabad
Experience: 3–5 years
This is not your typical sales role.
If you're looking for a place where leads are handed to you, templates are pre-written, and your job is to follow the process—this isn't it.
At Neuronimbus, we are building a high-performance business development engine, and we're looking for individuals who want to be part of that journey—not just execute it.
This role is for someone who:
- Knows how to find opportunities where others don't
- Can start conversations from scratch
- Enjoys the challenge of turning cold outreach into warm opportunities
- Wants to grow into a full-cycle enterprise sales professional
About Neuronimbus
With over two decades of experience, Neuronimbus has been helping enterprises and mid-sized businesses solve complex digital challenges across digital transformation, product development, digital experience, AI and offshore delivery models.
We work across industries and geographies, delivering solutions that combine technology depth with business understanding.
What You'll Actually Do
This role is heavily skewed towards prospecting, outreach, and pipeline creation.
1. Prospecting & Market Mapping (Core Focus)
- Identify and build a strong pipeline of enterprise and mid-market accounts in India
- Research organisations, decision-makers, and trigger events
- Create structured account maps and outreach plans
2. Multi-Channel Outreach
- Drive outbound through LinkedIn, email, cold calling, communities, events, and creative channels
- Experiment with messaging, formats, and sequences (this is encouraged, not restricted)
- Continuously refine outreach based on response data
3. Conversation Building
- Initiate meaningful conversations with CXOs, tech leaders, and business heads
- Qualify interest and convert leads into sales-ready opportunities (SQLs) and work with the team to close them
- Build early-stage relationships, not just pitch services
4. Pipeline Development
- Own early-stage pipeline and ensure consistent flow into the sales funnel
- Work closely with senior BD/sales leaders to transition qualified opportunities
5. Market Intelligence
- Track industry trends, competitor positioning, and emerging demand areas
- Feed insights back into messaging and targeting strategy
What We're Looking For
Experience & Background
- 3–5 years in B2B sales / business development (IT services preferred)
- Prior experience targeting enterprise or mid-market clients in India
- Exposure to services selling (custom solutions, consulting, outsourcing) is a strong plus
- (Product sales-only backgrounds may struggle here)
Mindset (This Matters More Than Experience)
- Strong hunter instinct—you enjoy finding and chasing opportunities
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rejection
- High ownership—doesn't wait for instructions to act
- Curious, adaptable, and willing to experiment with new approaches
Skills
- Strong communication and articulation (written + verbal)
- Ability to research, personalise, and engage
- Understanding of technology landscape (AI, cloud, digital, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, outreach tools
What You Won't Like About This Role
- No ready-made lead lists waiting for you every day
- No copy-paste and send outreach culture
- No rigid playbook that guarantees results
What You Will Get
1. Real Learning Curve
- Hands-on exposure to enterprise sales cycles
- Direct interaction with senior decision-makers
2. Entrepreneurial Environment
- Freedom to test ideas, messaging, and channels
- Opportunity to shape how we build our outbound engine
3. Clear Growth Path
- Move from Associate → Manager → Strategic Sales Lead
- Transition into full-cycle deal ownership based on performance
4. High-Impact Role
- Your work directly influences pipeline and revenue
- You are not a support function—you are frontline growth
Who Will Do Well Here
- Someone who has tried outbound and thought:
- There's a better way to do this.
- Someone who doesn't get discouraged by silence—but gets curious instead
- Someone who wants to build something, not just execute tasks
Final Word
We're not hiring for a role.
We're hiring for someone who wants to grow with the business and build a capability.
- If that sounds like you, let's talk.
