About the Role
We are looking for driven and articulate individuals to join our Business Development team at Scaler Academy's Adhoc vertical — Gurugram. As a Business Development Associate (BDA), you will be a key part of our sales engine, helping prospective learners discover and enrol in Scaler's tech programs. This is a high-impact, conversation-first role that blends consultative selling with genuine learner success.
Key Responsibilities
• Reach out to prospective learners via calls and follow up on inbound leads to understand their career goals and learning needs
• Recommend suitable Scaler tech programs (small-ticket offerings) through a consultative and needs-based sales approach
• Own the complete sales cycle — from first contact to successful enrolment
• Build rapport and maintain consistent follow-up with leads to drive conversions
• Meet and exceed individual monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, lead status, and conversions in the CRM system
• Collaborate with internal teams to share learner feedback and improve outreach strategies
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in B.Tech, B.Com, BBA, or equivalent (mandatory); MBA (Marketing/Sales) or M.Tech preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in B2C sales, EdTech, or customer-facing roles; strong freshers are welcome
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• A natural ability to listen, understand, and guide people toward the right decision
• Target-driven mindset with high energy and a hunger to grow
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
• Prior internship experience in sales, EdTech, or customer success is an advantage
Preferred Backgrounds
• B2C or inside sales experience
• EdTech internships or roles involving direct customer interaction
• Any high-touch, relationship-driven sales environment
