Job Title: Business Development

Location: Bangalore (Reporting to Headquarters)

About Radiowalla

Radiowalla is a fast-growing in-store radio and retail media solutions company working with leading brands across India. We operate in a high-performance, fast-paced environment where individuals get direct exposure to CXO-level leadership and complete ownership of territories.

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and execution-focused Business Development & Account Manager to lead client acquisition and account growth across the assigned state. This role demands a strong GTM mindset, field sales confidence, and the ability to manage both new business and ongoing client relationships.

You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sales support while ensuring client success and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Conduct door-to-door outreach to identify and acquire new retail and commercial clients
  • Execute structured cold calling and cold email campaigns
  • Build relationships with Marketing Heads and CXO-level decision makers
  • Take ownership of the entire assigned state/territory
  • Drive aggressive GTM initiatives to enter new markets

Ongoing Project & Account Support

  • Act as a bridge between clients and internal operations teams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Monitor campaign/project performance to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Provide ongoing account support and identify upsell & cross-sell opportunities
  • Handle post-sales coordination and relationship management

Qualifications

  • Any Bachelor's Degree
  • 24 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management (Retail/Media preferred)
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong experience in cold outreach and field sales

Exceptional pitching & negotiation skills; ability to speak retail and speak media

Tech Savvy

Proficiency in CRM tools and lead-generation platforms

Resilience, high emotional intelligence, and a proactive get-it-done attitude

Nice to Have

  • Automation skills (CRM workflows, email automation tools)
  • Creative & design thinking ability
  • Fluency in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu (Malayalam is a plus)
