We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with deep expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, experience working with data warehouses, and a sharp analytical mindset to drive business and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and lead requirement gathering sessions to align with business priorities.
- Manage stakeholder relationships throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed business and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define and support test strategies.
- Create and manage product backlog, sprint backlog, user stories, system diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
- Plan and execute change management strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the P&C Insurance domain.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data mapping, and internal system integration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and a product mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with insurance processes including Claims Processing, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Billing, and Policy/Form Generation.
- Experience in Application Lifecycle Management.
- Knowledge of training material development and user documentation.
