Job Summary:
The Business Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Digital Output business for the India Cluster by managing and transforming key data assets essential for both business retention and growth. The role drives data-informed decision-making while ensuring robust pricing governance through SPCM (Special Price Customer Master) management and LDN (Channel Landed Price) analysis.
It delivers actionable market insights via AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) data extraction and reporting and significantly enhances operational efficiency through QBR automation.
Additionally, role leverages tools such as the UDI portal for media infiltration tracing, ensuring compliance, traceability, and transparency.
Overall, this role is vital in enabling revenue growth, margin optimization, and strategic business insights across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Digital Output Product Data Warehouse
- Act as the single point of ownership for the Digital Output product data warehouse, ensuring accurate, structured, and reliable data management to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Capture, consolidate, and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data related to channel partners and end customers, enabling actionable insights and informed business decisions.
- Perform regular audits of special pricing claims by validating partner submissions and invoices, and collaborate with business stakeholders to review, refine, and maintain pricing structures.
- Leverage Power BI to extract, integrate, and maintain external market data, delivering insightful dashboards and analytics to support market intelligence and drive business expansion.
Product Pricing
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive master repository for all Digital Output (DO), Dental Media, and NDT pricing agreements, including customer profiles, contractual terms, and committed volumes.
- Act as the central point of contact for the Sales team and Channel Partners for all pricing-related queries, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with commercial policies.
- Lead periodic pricing reviews with leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions, improve competitiveness, and enhance margins.
- Design and deliver monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support performance tracking, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Special Projects
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing process efficiency, data accuracy, and overall business productivity.
- Manage and deliver strategic projects as identified by the Operations Manager, driving business growth, strengthening sales effectiveness, and improving operational efficiency.
- Generate market intelligence insights through AERB-based data analysis, enabling informed sales and marketing strategies and supporting competitive positioning.
Asset Recovery Program Performance
- Track, monitor, and evaluate the performance of equipment deployed under asset recovery programs, ensuring alignment with financial and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Business teams to drive timely actions, resolve discrepancies, and support decision-making through structured reporting and insights.
OEM Data Monitoring
- Monitor and analyze equipment billed to OEMs, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of volumes and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with Sales teams and Channel Partners to ensure seamless installation tracking and effective monitoring of film consumption (burn), enabling improved operational visibility and revenue assurance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, business operations, or a similar domain.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Highly self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Advanced analytical capabilities, with the ability to leverage data-driven insights and integrate AI-enabled tools for enhanced decision-making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions), Power BI, and Power Apps, with the ability to build scalable reports and dashboards.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness in sourcing and synthesizing information, tools, and documentation from diverse internal and external channels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
