In this role, you will contribute to building advanced machine learning and forecasting solutions that drive data-driven decision-making across complex operational and network environments. You will design, develop, and deploy predictive models that support demand forecasting, capacity planning, and optimization of large-scale systems. Working at the intersection of data science and business analytics, you will transform raw, high-volume datasets into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with business and data engineering teams to translate real-world challenges into scalable ML solutions. This position involves hands-on model development, production deployment, and continuous performance improvement. You will also play a key role in identifying trends, uncovering opportunities, and enhancing data-driven strategy. This is a high-impact role within a fast-evolving analytics and AI environment.
Accountabilities
- Build, train, and deploy machine learning models for forecasting use cases such as demand, volume, and capacity planning
- Develop and optimize ML solutions for network performance, operational efficiency, and decision support
- Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into machine learning problems
- Work with data engineering teams to ensure data availability, quality, and proper formatting for modeling
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve model performance in production environments
- Develop and maintain production-grade code for scalable ML pipelines and analytics workflows
- Support experimentation, validation, and deployment of predictive and analytical models
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or applied AI roles
- Strong hands-on experience in building and deploying ML models in production environments
- Solid expertise in time-series forecasting and predictive modeling techniques
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, PySpark) and strong understanding of data processing workflows
- Experience working with large datasets in cloud environments, preferably Azure ecosystem (Databricks, Azure ML, Data Factory, Synapse)
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Familiarity with ML lifecycle including training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
- Exposure to logistics or supply chain analytics is a plus
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar visualization tools is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
