Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Coordinator who will act as a key support partner to the Branch and Zonal Sales Teams. The role focuses on onboarding support, performance engagement, campaign execution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth sales operations and achievement of zone-level business goals.
The Business Coordinator will work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Compliance, Training, and Marketing teams to enable the field force and drive execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome & Onboarding Support
● Conduct welcome and orientation calls with all new sales team joiners
● Ensure smooth onboarding, initial handholding, and system/process familiarity
● Act as the first point of contact for new employees during the joining phase
Performance & Engagement Calling
● Conduct regular performance and engagement calls with sales teams
● Track activity levels, productivity, targets, and operational challenges
● Motivate teams and reinforce focus on KPIs and business objectives
Knowledge & Process Handholding
● Support new and existing team members with product knowledge, processes, and system usage
● Provide timely clarification and guidance on policies and workflows
● Ensure adherence to defined processes and sales practices
Contest & Campaign Execution
● Execute sales contests, incentive programs, and business campaigns across the zone
● Ensure complete communication, participation tracking, and campaign closure
● Drive enthusiasm and engagement among sales teams
Cross-Functional Coordination
● Coordinate between Zonal Sales Teams and internal departments such as Operations, Product, Compliance, Training, and Marketing
● Resolve issues impacting sales productivity and ensure timely enablement
Driving Initiatives & Updates
● Roll out new initiatives, process changes, and business updates to the sales force
● Ensure timely adoption and collect feedback from the field
Ownership of Zone Performance
● Take ownership of zone-level targets, campaigns, contact programs, and process adherence
● Track dashboards, MIS, and performance reports
● Support zonal leadership in achieving business and productivity goals
Core Qualifications & Must-Have Expertise
● 2 to 5 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Support, Business Operations, or Channel Management
● Experience working closely with field sales teams is mandatory
● Ability to manage multiple internal stakeholders effectively
● Preferable experience in Broking, BFSI, Wealth Management, or Financial Services
Key Skills & Competencies
● Strong communication and calling skills
● Excellent coordination, follow-up, and execution capability
● Sales-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability
● Good understanding of financial products and broking business (preferred)
● Ability to drive campaigns and motivate sales teams
● Process-oriented with strong attention to detail
● Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems, and MIS reporting
