Overview
The Business Continuity Incident Response (BCIR) Compliance Analyst 3 will assist in performing business impact analysis,
business continuity planning, disaster recovery, incident response and exercises
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing business continuity, disaster recovery and incident response plan development throughout the company
- Assist in auditing to assess the company's posture against the legal, regulatory, compliance and industry standards
- Assist in performing business continuity training for various leadership teams
- Assist with software procurement/development for business continuity incident response platforms
- Assist with disaster recovery exercises within the cloud environment as well as with customers
- Collaborate with team members and cross-departmental stakeholders in creation and coordination of mutual goals
- Assist in performing business impact analysis and risk assessments on essential business functions or information systems to identify recovery strategies and to meet business continuity goals
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar preferred
- Minimum 2 years job experience with business continuity principles
- Microsoft Windows and Office proficient
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Good collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Good facilitation and project management skill
- Good data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills
- Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation new ideas and design solutions
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good knowledge of systems administration
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products
- Up to 10% travel time required
