Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead Disaster Recovery solution strategy and deployment once project goals and objectives are defined.
- Operate as a subject matter expert on Disaster Recovery solutions within the Consulting practice, including managing large customer engagements.
- Delivering Disaster Recovery technical workshops to customers, and interpreting/managing complex Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Have full oversight of Disaster Recovery solutions at all stages of the lifecycle from initial requirement gathering/validation, through to solution design and delivery.
- Plan implementations and advance strategies for new initiatives
Essential Requirements:
- Total of 10 14 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, backup technologies - Networker, PPDM, Avamar, Cyber recovery, Resiliency, and Disaster Recovery Architecture
- Demonstrated expertise in enterprise disaster recovery and business continuity management, high availability and fault-tolerant architecture design, and data centre and hybrid cloud resiliency
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Business Continuity Management or Archer
- Conduct DR assessments and maturity evaluations to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in current DR environments
- Develop comprehensive DR plans, including recovery procedures, failover/failback workflows, and communication runbooks
- Facilitate and lead DR drills, simulations, and tabletop exercises, documenting outcomes and driving remediation actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, application owners, security, business units) to validate DR readiness and solution feasibility.
- Must have strong consulting skills, executive presence to engage with customer, conduct customer workshops, drive requirements, drive methodology, strong documentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge, understanding and application of project management principles and methodologies
- Experience in Professional Services/Consulting Delivery
