About the Role
As a Business Consultant / Senior Business Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering supply chain transformation solutions using Kinaxis Maestro. You will work closely with customers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, and support successful project delivery that drives measurable business outcomes.
The role requires strong supply chain domain expertise, consulting capability, stakeholder management, and hands-on exposure to Kinaxis Maestro implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Consulting & Solution Delivery
- Engage with customers and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Perform Fit-Gap Analysis and recommend best-fit business solutions using Kinaxis Maestro.
- Translate business requirements into functional solution designs and detailed specifications.
- Configure and support Kinaxis Maestro solutions aligned with client business processes.
Project Delivery & Collaboration
- Participate in Kinaxis implementation projects and support successful delivery within defined timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, technical teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Support project planning activities, testing cycles, and deployment readiness.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including business requirement documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Testing, Training & User Adoption
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users and stakeholders.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve functional issues during implementation and post-go-live support.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and enable business teams to effectively use Kinaxis Maestro solutions.
- Provide post-implementation functional support and guidance.
Data Integration & Functional Support
- Work closely with integration and technical teams to support inbound and outbound integrations between Kinaxis and ERP/source systems.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and migration activities.
- Understand workflows, reports, and functional enhancements required for business processes.
Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement
- Support proposal preparation, solution demonstrations, and customer presentations.
- Participate in RFP/RFI responses and solution discussions with prospective customers.
- Contribute to capability building, reusable assets, and consulting accelerators.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes including:
- Demand Forecasting
- Supply Planning
- Inventory Planning & Optimization
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Hands-on experience with Kinaxis Maestro configuration and implementation.
- Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and functional consulting.
- Good understanding of Kinaxis integration concepts with ERP systems and enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience
- Business Consultant: 4–7 years of relevant supply chain consulting experience.
- Senior Business Consultant: 7–10 years of relevant supply chain consulting experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of Kinaxis Maestro implementation experience preferred.
- Experience working on multiple end-to-end implementation projects.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline.
Preferred Skills
- Kinaxis Maestro certifications such as Contributor, Author, Admin, or Integration.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
