We are looking for a Business Consultant to join our GRC team within AI Data Services practice in India. This is an individual contribution, multi-focus role: you will spend equal time understanding business and regulatory challenges within GRC for BFSI clients through discovery calls, assisting internal data & AI team to formulate right solutions for clients and, contribute actively in POCs/Demos to winning new business:
Delivery
- Formulate composed data & AI solutions and complement delivery of composed solutions using data & AI technology, to the banks & insurance firms within GRC i.e. Regulatory Reporting, Model Risk, Control Testing, AML Data Quality, TPRM, Compliance Intelligence, and Risk Data Visibility
- Assist in design and implementation of data virtualisation solutions to create unified, compliance-ready data layers across BFSI systems
- Complement building AI/ML pipelines to automate e.g. control testing, model monitoring, regulatory report production, and anomaly detection
- Translate regulatory requirements (MAS, RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, BCBS 239, SR 11-7) into concrete, auditable data and technology solutions
- Produce high-quality client deliverables - solution designs, architecture diagrams, executive presentations, and regulator-ready evidence packs
Solutioning
- Work with senior leadership to scope, design, and propose new GRC engagements for BFSI clients
- Prepare and present proposals and solution designs to senior banking client stakeholders - CCO, CRO, CDO, Head of Internal Audit
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing client relationships and contribute to Sciente's growing GRC service portfolio
Must-Have
- 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Banking, Financial Services or Insurance sector
- Must have working knowledge of BFSI GRC domains: Regulatory Reporting, Model Risk, Control Testing, AML / Financial Crime, TPRM, Operational Risk, or Data Governance for Compliance
- Good understanding of various tech, data & AI platforms within GRC is required
- Familiarity with BFSI regulatory frameworks - MAS, RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, BCBS 239, or SR 11-7
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead discovery calls with clients independently
- Strong written and verbal communication - comfortable presenting to C-suite and senior risk and compliance executives
Good to Have
- GRC or risk certifications - CISA, CRISC, CAMS, FRM, or equivalent
- Basic proficiency in SQL and Python for data pipeline
