About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Automation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Commerce, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related educational background and a strong interest in business process improvement, data analytics, reporting, and automation.

This role combines business understanding with technical capabilities to streamline operations, automate reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights through Microsoft-based technologies. The candidate will work closely with management and stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop efficient reporting solutions, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

A. Business Process Analysis & Requirement Gathering

1. Interact with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business processes and reporting requirements.

2. Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for automation and reporting initiatives.

3. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements through technology and automation.

4. Assist in designing and implementing optimized workflows and standard operating procedures.

B. Data Analysis & Reporting

1. Prepare, analyze, and maintain business reports, dashboards, and management information systems (MIS).

2. Transform raw business data into meaningful insights and performance metrics.

3. Develop KPI-based reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.

4. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.

Requirements:

C. Microsoft Excel & Office Automation

1. Develop advanced Excel-based solutions using formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and automation techniques.

2. Automate recurring reports and data processing activities to improve efficiency.

3. Create professional business presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.

4. Prepare structured documentation, reports, and process documents using Microsoft Word.

D. Power BI & Business Intelligence

1. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

2. Create interactive visualizations to track business performance and KPIs.

3. Support management with data-driven insights and analytical reporting.

4. Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve reporting frameworks.

E. Automation & Continuous Improvement

1. Identify opportunities for business process automation using Microsoft-Google and other ecosystem tools.

2. Participate in implementation of automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

3. Support digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

4. Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in business analytics and automation.

F. Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. 0-3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, MIS, Data Analytics, Reporting, or Automation.

3. Freshers with strong analytical and technical skills may also apply.

Preferred Candidate

1. Knowledge of VBA, Power Automate, or other Microsoft automation tools.
