Job Title: Senior Oracle APEX & Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Developer
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX and Oracle Fusion Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on front-end development and a solid understanding of Oracle database technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and application lifecycle management. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact enterprise applications, integrating Oracle Cloud technologies with on-premise and SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop system solutions to business problems using Oracle APEX, Oracle Fusion VBCS, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces and reusable components within Oracle Fusion VBCS for cloud-based applications.
- Integrate APEX and VBCS applications with Oracle ERP Cloud and other backend systems using REST and SOAP web services.
- Review, analyze, debug, and enhance existing code to improve functionality, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecyclerequirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage code repositories using tools like Git and FlexDeploy.
- Collaborate with DBAs, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient and secure integration across environments.
- Migrate and deploy applications through multiple environments and cloud platforms.
- Conduct research to stay current with emerging Oracle Cloud technologies, APEX, and VBCS updates.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Fusion Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 for developing dynamic front-end interfaces.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs for system integrations.
- Solid understanding of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database schema design.
- Experience with version control (Git) and deployment tools such as FlexDeploy.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle ERP Cloud, and related integration patterns.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Oracle ADF and PHP is a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux environments, Oracle AOL objects, and Supply Chain integrations is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a distributed team
