The individual in this role will lead the translation of HR data into actionable business insights, driving strategic decision-making across HR and business leadership. The role goes beyond operational reporting to focus on problem-solving, hypothesis-driven analysis, and value realisation through analytics.
They will own the end-to-end insights lifecycle—from problem definition and data analysis to insight generation and stakeholder advisory—while leading a team of analysts (5-10 people) and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Key responsibilities:
Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and hypotheses
Perform diagnostic, trend, and predictive analysis to generate actionable insights
Synthesize complex data into clear business narratives, insights, and recommendations
Partner with HR and business leaders as a trusted analytics advisor
Drive data-led decision-making through insight presentations and storytelling
Align analytics outputs to business priorities and strategic objectives
Lead delivery of standard and ad hoc analytics solutions and reporting products
Drive shift from reporting operations to insight-led analytics delivery
Identify and implement automation and self-service analytics solutions
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across analytics outputs
Establish standard metrics, definitions, and data governance practices
Enable trusted, unified data sources for enterprise analytics
Enable data integration, dashboarding, and visualization for business consumption
Support development of predictive and advanced analytics use cases
