Business Analytics Associate Analyst - HIH - Evernorth

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports to support business operations.
• Utilize SQL and other tools to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources.
• Business Insights & Recommendations:
• Provide data-driven insights to inform business strategies and decision-making.
• Assist in the development of dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Process Improvement & Optimization:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
• Support the implementation of automation and optimization initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of changes and improvements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with operations, IT, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning and execution.
• Assist in the development and testing of new analytics tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in data analytics or business intelligence are a plus.
• Experience:
• 13 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
• Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is advantageous.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira) is beneficial.
