Position: Business Analyst — Integrations
Experience: 3–7 years
Location: Pune
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end integration requirements — from discovery with partner technical teams through to sprint-ready stories
• Translate API contracts, external system specs, and partner data formats into precise BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and data mapping documents
• Go beyond field mapping — define validation rules, data type constraints, nullability, default handling, and transformation logic for every field crossing a system boundary
• Specify the full integration contract: authentication flows, request/response structures, error codes, retry strategies, idempotency behaviour, timeout thresholds, and rate limit handling
• Define failure modes explicitly — what happens on partial failures, downstream unavailability, malformed payloads, or duplicate events; document expected system behaviour for each
• Contribute to API design discussions — flag gaps, ambiguities, or edge cases in partner proposed contracts before engineering picks them up
• Read SQL, stored procedures, and logs during production triage; identify root cause patterns, not just escalate
• Drive UAT and sign-off with US-based enterprise clients and partner teams
• Use AI tools extensively to accelerate spec drafting, mapping, and analysis workflows
• Maintain data dictionaries, integration documentation, and partner onboarding playbooks
Requirements:
• CS/CE/IT degree or similar — hard requirement; this is a techno-functional role
• 3–7 years BA experience in SaaS, with at least 2 years on integrations, APIs, or data exchange project.
• Fluent with REST/SOAP APIs — can read API docs, construct requests in Postman, inspect payloads, and spot contract gaps independently
• Can specify integration contracts from scratch: auth flows, request/response structures, error codes, retry logic, idempotency, timeouts, and rate limiting — not just document what engineering decides
• Hands-on with data mapping beyond field-to-field — validation rules, type coercions, nullability, transformation logic, and exception handling are second nature
• Able to read SQL and stored procedures well enough to trace data lineage, validate mapping logic, and investigate production issues without engineering hand-holding
• Comfortable reading code (any language) to understand what a system actually does vs. what documentation claims it does
• Strong agile delivery experience; comfortable decomposing complex integration flows into well-scoped, unambiguous stories
• Excellent written and verbal communication with US-based enterprise clients and technical partner teams
• Tools: Jira/ADO, Confluence, Lucid chart/draw.io, Postman, Excel

Background in behavioral health, credentialing, claims workflows, or EHR systems
Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS architectures and partner onboarding programs
Familiarity with .NET / SQL Server stack — enough to read code and stored procedures during investigations
Understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and audit requirements for healthcare integrations
What We Offer
Opportunity to work on a mission-driven product transforming behavioural healthcare in the US
