About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join a high-performing technology team supporting the Results Delivery Office (RDO). This role is ideal for a hands-on Business Systems Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology, helping deliver AI-enabled digital solutions, Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint platforms, and Power Platform automations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Analyze business processes, document requirements, create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Support AI-enabled products throughout the lifecycle, including requirement gathering, testing, deployment, adoption, and ongoing enhancements.
- Work with Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Lists, Forms, and Power Platform solutions.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows and support Power Apps and Power BI solutions where applicable.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Coordinate with development teams during solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Prepare test scenarios, execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate solutions, and manage defect tracking.
- Support product roadmap planning, release management, documentation, user guides, training materials, and stakeholder communications.
- Troubleshoot production issues, workflow failures, access requests, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
- Support AI initiatives including Generative AI use cases, prompt engineering, responsible AI practices, and automation opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations, end-user training, and adoption sessions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience 4+ as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or Technology Analyst.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, business process analysis, and solution documentation.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft 365
- SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Teams
- Power Automate
- Power Platform
- Working knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Assistants/Copilots, Prompt Engineering, and Responsible AI concepts.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, business process flows, use cases, and test cases.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience supporting solution implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power Apps and Power BI.
- Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
- Experience with SDLC, Release Management, Change Management, and DevOps processes.
