Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acts as the domain specialist who owns and drives the vision for the product life cycle
  • Supports end-to-end coordination for product-related activities
  • Serves as the primary liaison between business and technical team, responsible for gathering, documenting and prioritizing business requirements in support of critical business needs
  • Serves as the SME for User Acceptance Testing activities, including providing support for hands-on testing and troubleshooting when necessary
  • Drives findings through to satisfactory resolution
  • Participates in solution analysis and design meetings for system enhancements and/or implementations
  • Participates in the Intake process and actively represent the Digital Member Experience team to assess impact, identify work activities and come up with estimations.
  • Participates in discussions to document Current State or Future State workflows as needed
  • Provides clear description of problems or issues for medium to high complexity problems
  • Presents options for problem resolution
  • Capture, analyze, organize, and prioritize business requirements ranging from moderate to complex projects
  • Documents and translate business requirements into features and the development of user stories
  • Maximizing the value of the capabilities and products
  • Collaborate with System Analysts and architecture to identify solutions to meet business requirements
  • Provide explanations and information to Agile teams, stakeholders, managers
  • Prepares and presents information to leadership for next steps and decision making
  • Actively participate in Agile team processes and help implement process changes related to Agile
  • Represents business interests and requirements on the Agile teams
  • Lead, Build and maintain a backlog/inventory of system and business requirements to quickly react to additional enhancement capacity
  • Provides directions to peer business analysts and IT resources within the Agile team to ensure highest value is delivered
  • Represents organizations Culture missions and values in all activities, demonstrating exemplary customer service with internal and external team members
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
  • Flexibility to be available for all meetings with the West team including meetings beyond regular work hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with Healthcare knowledge
  • Agile knowledge and/or Product/Project Manager role
  • Prior experience as a Scrum Master or knowledge of scrum master role preferred.
  • Understanding of APIs and expertise working on tools like Postman.
  • Hands-on experience working on design tools like MS-Visio
  • Hands-on experience working closely with Ux designers and reviewing the Low-Fi, Mid-Fi and Hi-Fi designs.
