Job overview and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Enterprise team. This role will be responsible for working on business analysis project tasks with application development teams. This role will also be responsible for supporting Application Development teams on following Agile practices- writing, refining and prioritizing user stories and leading the delivery efforts.
u2022Translates high level requirements into detailed level user stories to be consumed by the development pods in each sprint, while ensuring stories and features are added iteratively to the product to add overall value
u2022Facilitates meetings and presentations to ensure alignment on project scope, requirements, and impact analysis findings
u2022Facilitates agile ceremonies such as kick off, iteration, estimation sessions and help to keep team up to date with changes in priorities and to be available to answer questions quickly
u2022Collaborate with Business partners, Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps and other stake holders to ensure deliverables meet expectations
u2022Drives knowledge base initiatives such Training programs, as documentation of knowledge articles and end user training
u2022Drives efforts for production incident identification, workaround, and remediation

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Whatu2019s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

u2022Bachelor's degree
u20227+ years of Industry experience as Business analyst.
u2022Excellent communicator with outstanding analytical skills in order to collaborate with business users, technology teams and leadership in an Agile environment.
u2022Hands-on experience in Jira/ADO.
u2022Strong problem-solving, listening, written and verbal communication and decision-making skills
u2022Domain expertise and relevant experience in Finance processes is preferred
u2022Demonstrated use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Visio
u2022Strong understanding of business analysis practices, agile delivery frameworks, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
u2022Familiarity with AWS services, especially in the context of enterprise system modernization and data integration.
