About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Product Analyst to join our product delivery team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, UI/UX teams, and developers to gather requirements, define user stories, and ensure successful delivery through UAT and production handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document feature requirements, workflows, and use cases.
- Understand business priorities and help define the product backlog accordingly.
- Translate business requirements into detailed, clear, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA.
- Coordinate with the UI/UX team to conceptualise and finalise user interface designs based on business needs.
- Review and validate UI designs with stakeholders and incorporate feedback before development starts.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement walk through with the development team.
- Serve as the point of contact for development teams to clarify story-level questions and ensure alignment.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for completed features, ensuring they meet business expectations and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders to keep them informed of development progress, blockers, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Proven experience in writing clear and comprehensive JIRA stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product life-cycle, and iterative delivery.
- Experience in working closely with UI/UX designers and validating designs.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or similar tools used in product and design collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a SaaS or tech product environment.
- Knowledge of basic software development life-cycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Comfortable with wire framing or reviewing mock-ups.
