Position Description
The RPA Business Analyst will act as a
single point of contact between the client, sales, and development teams throughout the entire project lifecycle. The role involves
analyzing business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and translating requirements into module and solution designs. The incumbent will coordinate end-to-end delivery from project scoping to client handover.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering (BE / B.Tech), or MBA
- Relevant experience in Business Analysis or Automation projects
Technical Qualifications
- Domain knowledge of RPA tools and current automation technologies
- Basic understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, processes, and concepts
- Strong computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets and database systems
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis & Process Discovery
- Work closely with client SMEs to conduct end-to-end process analysis
- Identify automation feasibility, blockers, risks, assumptions, and dependencies
- Re-engineer processes and define optimal TO-BE automation workflows
- Calculate automation percentage and FTE savings
Solution Design & Scoping
- Prepare detailed scoping documents ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Define project requirements including licenses, software, and effort estimates
- Create Entitlement Matrix, Automation Schema, and Solution Design Documents (SDD)
- Present findings and proposed automation designs to clients
Development & Testing Support
- Provide knowledge transfer to RPA developers and support clarifications during development
- Create test scenarios and test cases
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate requirement mapping
- Support UAT and resolve requirement-related queries
Project Coordination
- Own end-to-end project scoping with inputs from client and development teams
- Coordinate with Project Managers on feasibility analysis and delivery timelines
- Ensure smooth handover and successful delivery to the client
