We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst - Remediation Specialist to lead efforts in identifying and resolving regulatory reporting gaps across various financial regulations.
This role involves driving remediation projects, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and investigate regulatory reporting gaps and deficiencies across MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, SEC, and CAD obligations
- Lead remediation projects to address historical reporting failures and regulatory breaches
- Collaborate with technology, operations, and compliance teams to implement sustainable fixes
- Ensure timely regulatory submissions and manage backlog clearance and resubmission projects
- Conduct root cause analysis for reporting breaks and coordinate with regulators on remediation plans and timelines
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in business analysis and regulatory reporting
- Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, and CFTC regulations
- Background in Agile methodologies and regulatory reporting
- Familiarity with SEC and CAD obligations
- Capability to work cross-functionally with technology, operations, and compliance teams
