We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst specializing in reinsurance to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with a focus on reinsurance operations. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting the implementation of systems that improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business processes related to reinsurance operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed business requirement documents and functional specifications.
- Support the implementation of reinsurance systems and tools.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure alignment between business and technical requirements.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions meet business needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the reinsurance sector.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management.
