Business Analyst - Purchase & Supply Chain

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and work closely with Yamaha Motor Indias (YMI) Purchase Division
• The ideal candidate should have a profound understanding of the Purchase and Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain, coupled with the ability to comprehend user requirements and translate them into functional specifications for YMSLI developers
• This role will play a pivotal part in process improvement, automation, digital transformation, and new application development

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Purchase and Supply Chain domains.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and attention to detail.
• Experience in logistics and supply chain processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in writing functional specifications for developers.
• Ability to contribute to UI/UX design and recommend suitable technology and architecture solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing business challenges.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with YMIs Purchase Division at Chennai to understand user requirements and business functions.
- Assist in process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives .
- Write comprehensive functional specifications for YMSLI developers, ensuring clarity and alignment with business needs.
- Contribute to UI/UX design, providing insights and recommendations for an optimal user experience.
- Analyze and recommend the best technology and architecture solutions for the given business case.
- Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for improving supply chain operations, increasing efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Engage in ad-hoc research of software solutions, creatively utilizing digital technology to drive innovation in Purchase, Vendor Management, supply chain and product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of projects.
