Job Description:

As Business Analyst Plan Transformation you will support critical global initiatives in plan and inventory and help establish a globally harmonized view of Plan and inventory data products.

You will analyze business needs, collaborate with business and IT partners to shape requirements, and enable reporting to support business processes. You will work closely with the demand and supply planning teams across regions to harmonize and build reporting various plan use cases. You will work closely with global and regional inventory managers and process owners and help build the necessary reports for various initiatives in inventory optimization projects. You will be responsible for testing and validating data builds and software applications, ensuring that they meet the functional requirements and specifications. This will involve developing and executing test plans and test cases, identifying defects, and working collaboratively with the build team, business poc's and product owners to resolve issues adhering to the defined timeline. Key Responsibilities

Business:

• Deeply understand business goals and strategies, as well as operational context and processes
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of business stakeholders. Document business user requirements – BRDs
• Analyze data needs for the report and identify and document source table and field names along with target data structures- MDDs
• Write JIRA user stories, attend scrum calls, manage story progress with IT teams.
• Provide regular, timely, transparent communication on progress to capabilities leadership teams.
• Ensure business solutions are deployed, fully embedded into ways of working, and constantly improved to address changing business needs and transform and mature our business.
• Work closely with data asset and front end powerbi development teams for report builds.

Technical-

• Adept with Azure SQL and Jira, Identify all reporting requirements and business functionality and KPIs, filters, identify source and target tables.
• Perform a high-level analysis of the reports to be built, maintain design documentation and user stories.
• Responsible for identifying and curating L2 data assets(semantic builds) for OneS4 reporting.
• Check if these entities are available in Digital Core
• Sometimes the entities might be available, but this source might not be curated.
• Sometimes the entities might be available, but it might be lacking the necessary columns.
• At times the entity might have to be curated as a new data asset
• Using the above high-level assessment, provide
• Documentation of the curation requirements – possibly with support from Business Analysts/Developers [code analysis]
• Work with data asset teams to model the data requirements into existing/new data assets
• Work with Business Owners for UAT
• Perform adhoc analysis for capabilities as needed

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 5-8 years of business experience in master data, supply chain, operations, or multi-functional business environment.
• Overall business understanding of Sales and shipments data, demand and supply planning processes and inventory management.
• Experience working across multiple business functions, especially with Demand/Supply Planners, Inventory managers and various Plan global process owners.
• Experience with SAP (especially S/4 Hana) and Planning systems like Anaplan, OMP, Kinaxis, SAP IBP
• Advanced skills with SQL*Plus
• Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency with PowerPoint
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and change management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of data modelling- star schema, snowflake/databricks.
• Ability to courageously challenge the status quo, influence, and inspire changes to business processes and systems
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in business and technical terms with equal effectiveness
• Curious mind with an ability to quickly learn new functions, technologies, and processes
• Experience with Agile product development methodology is required.
• Maintaining Jira boards, stories and epics
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating the needs of the business stakeholders is required.
• Experience writing user stories, attending scrum calls, prioritizing backlog, etc. is required.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or DGSP (Data Governance and Stewardship Professional)
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud suite (e.g., Azure, Databricks)
• Background in Agile methodologies, particularly experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
• Scrum Alliance certification is preferred (e.g., Product Owner, Developer, ScrumMaster), Project Planning and JIRA
