The Process Control Platform (PCP) lays the foundation of Automation business area with proven and innovative technology. Our mission is to shape the Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and digital solutions of tomorrow, PCP is the value generating partner, creating digital control solutions for industries.

As a business analyst for PCP Information Systems (IS), you will be the primary responsible for supporting Business for PCP productization / Go to market processes.

You will have deep understanding of productization processes and how this is supported through PTC Windchill and integrated tools.

You will work primarily with PTC Windchill Product Management Lifecycle (PLM) technologies and with different tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps , Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Jira, other Office 365 tools on a daily basis.

You will be part of a globally distributed Business process and IS team with members working across the value chain to support different functions such as R&D, Product management, Sales, Service etc. As Part of your role, you will interact mainly with R&D product owners, project managers, design engineers, developers as well as with IS community.

The work model for the role is: hybridwithin the stated locations only.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Business analyst and primary point of contact for productization processes in PTC Windchill Product Management Lifecycle (PLM) technologies and integrated applications.
  • Work with Application Managers for applications supporting Productization processes.
  • Guide and support IS project teams, IS Application Managers & Application Process Managers on improvement of PCP Windchill solution for all relevant functions (R&D, PPM, others) and mandatory security & compliance assessments.
  • Consulted by other teams in enhancing the overall solution architecture for PLM linked processes at PCP and Automation Business Areal level.
  • Lead small projects / enhancements to improve PLM linked processes.
  • Communicate status and health of existing or new processes / projects to management
  • Assists in (RFP/RFI) - refers to running different bids from external /internal vendors for an upcoming project or solution



Qualifications for the role

  • 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of R&D Business Processes, related to product lifecycle management & go-to-market solutions
  • Knowledge of PTC Windchill / Navigate technologies (or similar technologies) and Business Connections between applications (e.g. API, Biz Talk etc.)
  • Ability to actively drive roadmaps, the related projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Experience with managing virtual teams, driving projects and understanding of demands of large and globally distributed IS and R&D teams.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to learn defining and driving IT projects for R&D and get the experience in leading IT platforms (e.g. PLM-Windchill, ALM-Azure Devops, CAD, etc.)
