Job description
A Client Service Business Analyst is responsible for handling various service requirements for our partner firms within the Retirement and Insurance Division in partnership with the Strategic Account Managers, Client Relations Managers and Client Service-Business Development managers
As such, this role will field inquiries and prepare and provide routine deliverables in support of products where they invest, such as Mutual Funds, Insurance funds, Sub Advised Mandates, Separate Accounts, and Private accounts/portfolios
This position also requires the individual to work closely with key internal departments including Regulatory Compliance, Investment Compliance, Product Managers, Portfolio Administration, , Performance, Investment Risk, and others to ensure proper and high quality service is provided
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Business Analyst
Assist Client Services Senior Business Analyst/Manager with the day-to-day tasks.

Field on-going client inquiries and requests regarding portfolio information, compliance information, fund information etc

Review and respond to monthly, quarterly, and/or annual sub advised compliance requests/certifications.

Prepare and deliver requested fund information to insurance and retirement clients on a monthly/quarterly basis or as requested.

Complete/review RFIs, RFPs, custom reports and compliance reports for Mutual Fund, Insurance Sub Advised clients.

Preparation and submission of responses to clients regarding Due Diligence Questionnaire, Portfolio Manager Commentaries, Product Profiles, Attributions and Performance Summaries etc

Work closely with Client Services Manager in coordinating Compliance/Operations meetings.

Assist Manager with projects of common goals and initiatives.

Understand and implement quality work at all times and at every step of the role.

Should be pro-active in escalating issues/concerns/delays to Manager with regard to deliverables and is expected to be vocal at all times.

Research and document business issues involving workflow procedures and processes.

Analyze data and develop solutions

What ideal qualifications, skills experience would help someone to be Successful
Bachelor s Degree in Commerce/Business Administration/related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3+ years experience in mutual fund industry, preferably with strong knowledge in the investments and operations.

Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Work, PowerPoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent attention to detail strong organizational skills

Ability to maintain knowledge of procedures, products, activities of assigned area and adhere to established time frames and schedules

Preferably, solid knowledge of Franklin Templeton products and distribution channel.
