KEY REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in finance and accounting, as well as interest in the investment industry.
- A solid understanding of financial instruments like Equity, Bonds, Options, Futures, FX, Swaps, and also relevant regulations and accounting standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency, are also key requirements for success in this role.
- Candidate should be willing to travel to client's location in India or abroad basis assignment for short or long term as per the project requirement.
- Holding a valid Indian passport with expiry more than 6 months of validity is required.
- If passport has been applied for, then proof of application has to be produced.
JOB DESCRIPTION
A Business Analyst in Investment Management and Accounting Domain is responsible for providing functional and technical expertise in the implementation and support of Investment Accounting domain systems and processes.
The typical job duties for this role include:
- Understanding and analyzing the business requirements of clients to identify solutions using Genesis, our flagship Investment Management and Accounting software.
- Providing functional expertise to clients during the implementation of Genesis whether in a green field or brownfield projects.
- Configuring and testing systems to ensure they meet client requirements.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the use of Genesis.
- Providing training to clients on the use of systems and processes.
- Collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure successful implementation and support of systems.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Investment management and Accounting Domain.
