Job Summary
As a Business Data Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports NetApp's business processes. Your primary focus will be on Master Data Management (MDM) for the Product Domain, ensuring accurate and timely product data setup for new products and part numbers in NetApp's enterprise systems such as ERP Cloud. In addition, this role will involve supporting enterprise projects within Master Data domains such as Customer Master Data. You will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to uphold data integrity and drive continuous improvements in data quality and governance.
Job Requirements
- Contribute to Master Data Management (MDM) operations to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data in source systems, supporting downstream business processes and analytics.
- Provide endtoend support for Product Master Data setup and maintenance across NetApp enterprise systems, covering both new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining parts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Support and drive enterprisewide initiatives and transformation projects by contributing to requirements definition, test strategy creation, execution of user acceptance testing (UAT), and postimplementation validation. Actively support initiatives aimed at process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement of data quality and integrity.
- Perform and support complex data analysis and validation activities on datasets residing in the cloud data warehouse, ensuring alignment between source systems and downstream consumers.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data governance partners to identify and resolve data quality gaps. Analyze datasets for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support system enhancements and data quality improvement initiatives, including conducting root cause analysis, defining remediation plans, and driving preventive controls to avoid recurrence of data issues.
- Own and drive assigned projects endtoend, including planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and with high quality.
Education
5 - 7 years of experience in Master Data management and related applications, preferably in high-tech companies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle ERP Cloud or similar).
- Knowledge of Master Data Management tools and best practices.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and glossary management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
