Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making at the plant level. The role will focus on analyzing operational, production, and quality data, developing automated reports, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance across manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have strong Excel, statistical analysis, and data automation skills, with experience working in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and plant operations.
  • Develop dashboards, automated reports, and data models to support operational decision-making.
  • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities in production processes.
  • Support performance tracking of KPIs such as production output, yield, deviations, and downtime.
  • Automate routine data processes using Excel tools (macros, Power Query, advanced formulas)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, QA, QC, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
  • Prepare periodic reports for leadership.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives through data insights and analytics.
  • Maintain data accuracy and ensure data integrity in reporting systems.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query)
  • Good experience in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Experience in data visualization and reporting.
  • Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources.

Experience: 6 to 8 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, or other analytics tools is a plus.
