Role Overview:
The Business Analyst CEO's Office (Strategy Track) will serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO, supporting enterprise-level decision-making, long-term planning, and execution of high-impact initiatives. The role blends strategy, analytics, and business operations, offering deep exposure to leadership priorities, cross-functional execution, and board-level thinking. This position is designed for a high-potential individual with strong analytical rigor and a bias for action.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enterprise Strategy & Business Planning
- Support the CEO in formulating and refining corporate strategy, annual operating plans, and long-term growth roadmaps.
- Conduct deep-dive strategic analyses on market expansion, new revenue streams, pricing, customer segments, and competitive positioning.
- Build financial and business models to evaluate strategic options, trade-offs, and investment decisions.
- Track industry trends, emerging business models, and competitive moves to proactively inform leadership decisions.
2. CEO Decision Support & Strategic Execution
- Act as a strategy execution arm for the CEO by translating strategic priorities into measurable initiatives and outcomes.
- Prepare board-ready strategy decks, leadership narratives, and decision memos with clear recommendations.
- Perform scenario planning, what-if analyses, and risk assessments to support high-stakes decisions.
- Monitor progress of CEO-sponsored initiatives, identify execution gaps, and drive course correction.
3. Business Performance & Value Creation
- Own enterprise-level performance tracking, including revenue, growth, profitability, customer metrics, and operational efficiency.
- Design and maintain CEO-level dashboards and strategic scorecards aligned to business objectives and OKR's.
- Identify value creation opportunities through cost optimization, productivity improvement, and revenue acceleration initiatives.
- Partner with Finance and Business leaders to ensure strategic alignment between performance outcomes and financial plans.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Transformation
- Work closely with senior leaders across Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Operations to drive cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Support organization-wide transformation programs, including process redesign, operating model changes, and growth acceleration efforts.
- Enable alignment across teams by clarifying priorities, defining success metrics, and driving accountability.
5. Governance, Reviews & Leadership Communication
- Support the CEO in structuring and driving monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews, strategy offsites, and board meetings.
- Synthesize complex discussions into clear strategic insights, action items, and leadership decisions.
- Prepare executive briefs, strategic narratives, and internal communications that reinforce direction and focus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to balance big-picture strategy with execution discipline
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, exposure to Power BI / Tableau, and SQL (preferred)
- Experience in business modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluation
- Strong executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- High ownership mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments
- Strong stakeholder influence and cross-functional leadership skills
Education & Experience:
- MBA / PGDM preferred (Strategy, Finance, or Analytics background advantageous)
- 13 years of experience in strategy, consulting, analytics, CEO's Office, or high-impact business roles
- Exposure to consumer internet, digital platforms, or e-commerce through work, internships, or projects is a strong plus
