Job Description

Manual Incentive Plans - Business Application Analyst

Responsible for providing immediate capacity support to the Manual Plans Pod. The role focuses on executing payroll-critical incentive and commission processes, supporting incident management, and stabilizing operational delivery during peak demand and resource gaps. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring rapid onboarding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to contribute quickly within an Agile environment.

Location: Bangalore

Mode: 5 Days WFO- ODC

Shift Time- 1.00 PM-10.00 PM

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all tasks aligned to incentive plan calendars (monthly, quarterly, annual cycles)
  • Perform file uploads, data processing, and plan execution activities for compensation payouts
  • Ensure all outputs are accurate, complete, and delivered within strict deadlines
  • Provide first-level analysis and resolution or escalate based on complexity
  • Test and validate plan calculations prior to release cycles
  • Identify discrepancies and support resolution through detailed analysis
  • Perform recurring BAU tasks including reconciliations, reporting, and plan-related administrative work
  • Assist with documentation and process updates

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must Have:

  • Expert Excel Proficiency to support data handling, file manipulation, and validation
  • Ability to analyze and validate calculation logic and outputs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-risk, payroll-critical processes

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with HR technology platforms / compensation systems
  • Strong understanding of incentive and commission plan processing
  • Familiarity with incident management and defect tracking processes
  • Ability to prioritize work across multiple plan cycles and deadlines
  • Effective triage and problem-solving skills for operational issues
  • Understanding of controls, audit requirements, and risk management in payroll processes
  • Ability to operate in environments with low tolerance for error and high compliance requirements
