Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & SQL

Write advanced SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets from data

warehouses.

Investigate business problems across lead funnel, bookings, revenue, operations,

and project performance.

Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.

2. Business Reporting & Automation

Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards using Google Sheets.

Create automations using Google Apps Script to streamline operational workflows.

Ensure stakeholders have accurate and timely business visibility.

3. Problem Solving & Insights

Translate business questions into structured analytical problems.

Deliver clear insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Support leadership teams with decision-making through data-backed insights.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with teams across Sales, Design, Finance, Operations, and Product.

Gather requirements and convert them into scalable reporting solutions.

Communicate insights in a clear and actionable manner.

5. Process & Data Improvements

Identify gaps in existing data tracking and reporting.

Improve data pipelines, reporting structures, and operational metrics.

Build scalable analytical frameworks that support business growth.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related

analytical field.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in Business Analytics / Data Analytics / Consulting /

Operations Analytics.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis.

Advanced Google Sheets skills (complex formulas, data manipulation, reporting).

Experience with Google Apps Script for workflow automation is a strong plus.

Familiarity with data warehouses / cloud platforms (AWS / Athena / Presto /

BigQuery) is preferred.

Analytical & Business Skills

Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.

Ability to work with messy, incomplete data and still derive insights.

Comfortable handling large datasets and multiple business metrics.

Soft Skills

Strong ownership mindset and hustle.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-moving priorities.

Excellent communication and storytelling with data.
