Job Description

  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
  • Work closely with stakeholders (operations, logistics, supply chain teams) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for LIMS solutions.
  • Develop detailed business requirements, process flows, and system specifications for inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide actionable recommendations to enhance performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Inventory & Logistics Optimization:
  • Analyze existing inventory management practices and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Recommend process improvements or automation tools to optimize the management of airline parts, equipment, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure inventory levels meet demand, reduce excess stock, and prevent stockouts.
  • System Design & Integration:
  • Work with IT teams to design, configure, and optimize the LIMS system to meet business needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the LIMS system with other business systems, such as ERP, Maintenance, and Procurement systems.
  • Support in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring the LIMS system supports logistics, procurement, and supply chain goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect, analyze, and report on inventory and logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to track KPIs related to inventory turnover, stock levels, procurement cycles, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide detailed reports on inventory status, trends, and supply chain performance to senior management.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new or updated LIMS features.
  • Ensure that LIMS solutions are working effectively and meet the business requirements before deployment.
  • Identify and resolve any system or process issues that may affect inventory accuracy or operational efficiency.
  • Training & Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders on LIMS system usage and best practices.
  • Ensure proper documentation of inventory management processes, making it easier for staff to follow and maintain consistent operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure all logistics and inventory management practices comply with airline industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Proactively identify potential risks in inventory management and logistics operations and work with management to mitigate them.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements affecting inventory management and logistics.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of implemented LIMS solutions and recommend further improvements or enhancements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive process optimization initiatives across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement in inventory management and logistics operations.
