About The Role
We are seeking a strategic thinker with a strong research background to serve as a key partner for our Marketing and Sales teams. In this role, you will go beyond surface-level signals to connect disparate dots and generate insights. Your goal is not just to find data, but to translate it into simple, compelling stories that drive department goals and business impact. You will generate strategic insights from diverse intelligence sources, conduct OSINT investigations to identify fraud risks, and monitor online platforms to detect malicious activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth investigations to identify fraud methods and malicious activities across web and mobile platforms (social media, forums, apps, and the darknet)
- Sift through vast amounts of open-source data, distinguishing high-value threats from general low-level noise
- Review monitoring alerts and analyze adversarial tactics to understand systemic fraud behaviors
- Produce detailed reports that convert complex findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- Document processes, record examples for use in marketing collateral
- Ownership of the insights hub in MindTickle
Required Skills & Experience
- Fluent English with exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to turn technical data into a narrative
- Strong instinct for identifying high-value information from unconventional sources with extreme attention to detail
- Proactive, curiosity-driven, and capable of independent work within a collaborative, high-trust environment
- Comfortable learning new intelligence tools
- High discretion when handling sensitive information
Advantage
- SQL experience is a strong plus. Must be comfortable learning new intelligence tools
- Experience with payment fraud or familiarity with fraud-specific terminology (e.g., carding, configs)
- Knowledge of web intelligence (WEBINT) and OSINT, including social media, apps, and the dark web
- Experience with multiple languages
