Key Responsibilities:
Domain & Functional Expertise
- Possess strong understanding of Loans Against Securities (LAS) and related lending processes such as share events, corporate actions, revaluation, DP handling, LTV calculations, and securities lending mechanics.
- Support business teams with domain knowledge throughout the design, development, testing, and implementation of LAS solutions.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and other analysis artifacts.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a bridge between business users and IT/development teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and seamless implementation.
- Lead domain discussions with internal stakeholders and support clarification of requirements during the project lifecycle.
Support During Development & Testing
- Collaborate with technical teams (developers, QA) to address queries, resolve issues, and validate functional requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that delivered solutions meet business expectations and compliance standards.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency and reliability in LAS workflows and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 37 years of experience in business analysis within the BFSI domain, specifically working with Loan or Securities Lending products.
- Strong domain knowledge of Loans Against Securities (LAS) and associated operations (e.g., LTV, revaluations, corporate actions).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and work effectively with technical teams.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and adapting to evolving requirements.
- Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes; familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
