Job Summary
This role is focused on drivinginternal automation of business processes across departmentsincluding HR, Finance, Customer Support, and Operations. TheBusiness Analystwill work closely with department heads, developers, and project managers to identify manual tasks, propose automation solutions, and deliver functional designs usingMicrosoft PowerAppsandPython-based platforms. The ideal candidate brings a strong appreciation of business workflows, data flows, and how systems operate at a conceptual levelcombined with a sharp eye for detail in defining requirements and supporting successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Automation
- Analyze current workflows across departments to identifyautomation opportunities.
- Documentas-is and to-be process flows, data mappings, and decision logic.
- Gather and articulate business needs intodetailed BRDs,user stories, andacceptance criteria.
- Mapdata flows, transformations, and integrations across internal tools and databases.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for each automation project.
Platform-Centric Solutioning
- Work with development teams building solutions onMicrosoft PowerAppsandPython-based automation platforms.
- Createwireframes, mockups, and UI flow diagramsfor internal tools and apps.
- Designdata transformation logicto support process automation workflows.
- Understand the capabilities and limitations of PowerApps and Python-based scripts to propose viable technical solutions.
Project Management & Execution
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders tomanage delivery timelinesand priorities.
- Facilitatesprint planning,standups, andretrospectivesunder Agile methodology.
- Maintainproject plans, issue trackers, and documentationfor internal visibility and alignment.
- Supportuser acceptance testing (UAT), training, and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in business analysis with a focus oninternal process automation.
- Strong exposure toMicrosoft Power Platform/automation project (especially PowerApps)andPython automation scripts
- Hands-on experience withprocess mapping,data transformation,dataflows andworkflow design.
- Proficiency in tools likeLucidchart,Figma,Excel,SQL,Jira, andConfluence.
- Strong conceptual understanding of software systems and data-driven integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience automating workflows usingPower Automate,Dataverse,Flask/FastAPI, or Python scripts integrated with enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and database design.
- Certification in Business Analysis, Scrum, or Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
