Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze processes, and recommend data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories
• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement
• Conduct data analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with product, technology, operations, and cross-functional teams
• Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and reports
• Support project planning, testing, implementation, and change management
• Monitor KPIs and business performance metrics
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Economics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience with requirement gathering and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, or PMI-PBA
• Experience with project management or workflow tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello)
• Knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence concepts
• Experience in industries such as fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or SaaS
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams
