Business Analyst

Location: 1st Preference - Hyderabad. 2nd Preference – Mumbai

Work Model: Hybrid

Work Timings: 5:30PM to 2:30AM IST.

Role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad or Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Performance & Attribution (P&A) and Aladdin and/or FactSet user-level knowledge (min 5 years) , as well as expertise in testing, daily reconciliation, and defect analysis. A strong understanding of pricing, FX, market data, performance calculation logic, and derivatives is essential.

Must Have/Responsibilities:

•Execute UAT / system testing / parallel runs between Aladdin and legacy systems

•Perform daily reconciliations (positions, trades, pricing, FX, benchmarks)

•Investigate and resolve data breaks; perform root‑cause analysis

•Document defects, track fixes, and provide retesting support

•Validate P&A outputs (returns, contributions, benchmarks)

•Work closely with onshore teams for issue triage and reporting

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, identify pain points, and propose effective solutions.

•Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, systems, and data flows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

•Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and test cases to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.

•Perform testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and functionality of software solutions.

•Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document pricing strategies, FX calculations, market data requirements, and derivatives instruments.

•Participate in defect analysis and resolution, working closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
